“Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.” ― Edmund Lee
As a student in the Independent Study and Mentorship class this year, my mission is to gain a better understanding in the field of television screenwriting and production. With the help of a mentor, I hope to obtain knowledge of the television industry and other requirements in this area by conducting my own research in the field and acquiring insight in various roles in the television industry to improve my abilities to create compelling narratives. Furthermore, I will create a final presentation that will demonstrate my understanding of the industry, and an innovative final product that fuses my expertise and love of the career path. I aim to not only become well-versed in my chosen field, but also to acquire qualities that allow me to grow both as a person and a storyteller.
